Nordic Detailing seeks to provide the best complete mobile detailing and ceramic coating experience across Sydney. We appreciate your consideration and hope these terms and conditions help clarify the scope and expectations of our services.

By scheduling any service with Nordic Detailing, you agree to the following terms:


CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY

We require a $200 non-refundable deposit to secure all appointments. This deposit is transferable to a rescheduled appointment. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so within a reasonable timeframe so we can accommodate you. The deposit is deducted from the final service payment. If the $200 deposit isn't paid prior to service, it will be charged upon completion.


BEFORE YOUR DETAIL

You will receive a preparation guide before your appointment. If your vehicle is not ready when we arrive and we are delayed by more than 10 minutes, a $50 convenience fee may apply. If access to the vehicle isn't granted within a reasonable time, a $100 time-slot fee may be charged.


VEHICLE TERMS

Please remove all personal belongings prior to your appointment. We won't handle your belongings for safety and liability reasons. If excessive conditions (e.g. pet hair, mold, stains, odors, trash) are present but not disclosed beforehand, additional fees may apply. We reserve the right to adjust the quote on-site.

Car Baby seats must be removed prior to service. We cannot uninstall or reinstall them due to safety regulations. Areas such as glove boxes and centre consoles that aren't emptied will not be cleaned. Pet hair and sand are especially difficult to remove; while we will do our best, full removal is not guaranteed.

Stain and odor removal is not guaranteed. Some materials and surfaces may be permanently damaged or too fragile to clean thoroughly. For stubborn odors, ozone treatment or specialized services may be required.

Paint correction is designed to significantly enhance your vehicle's appearance by removing 70–90% of visible defects such as swirl marks, oxidation, and light scratches. While major improvement is expected, perfection is not guaranteed.


CERAMIC COATING AFTERCARE REQUIREMENTS

To ensure the longevity and performance of your ceramic coating, the following care guidelines must be strictly followed:

  • CURING PERIOD: After application, the ceramic coating requires a curing period of 24 to 48 hours. During this time, the vehicle must remain completely dry and must not be exposed to water or moisture of any kind.

  • WASHING PROTOCOL: The vehicle should be hand washed at least once per month using pH-neutral automotive shampoo and microfiber wash mitts and towels.

  • CONTAMINANT REMOVAL: Any bird droppings, bug splatter, tree sap, or harsh chemicals must be removed from the coated surface immediately to prevent damage to the coating.

  • WARRANTY CONDITIONS: Failure to follow these aftercare instructions will void any warranty associated with the ceramic coating.

  • Automated car washes are prohibited and will automatically void the warranty of the coating.

We do our best with window cleaning, but streaks may appear due to chemical residues. Some wheels, trims, and external contaminants (brake dust, sap, tar) may be beyond cleaning. We are not liable for permanent marks caused by these substances.


ON-SITE SERVICE TERMS

Payment is due on the day of service. Clients who cancel repeatedly may be required to pay in full upfront. We may adjust appointment times due to weather, health, or equipment issues and will provide notice where possible.

Please stay at least 1 - 2 metres from our working area to avoid hazards. If your vehicle contains biohazards (urine, faeces, mould, etc.) that weren't disclosed, we may charge for partial services without completing the job.


PHOTO / VIDEO RIGHTS

By booking, you allow us to take and use photos/videos of your vehicle before, during, and after service for marketing purposes. We won't reveal personal information without your consent. If you do not wish for your vehicle to be shared, please inform us beforehand and we will accommodate.


SERVICE GUARANTEE

If we've clearly missed a part of your service package, we will redo or refund that portion. You must report any issues within 24 hours of job completion. Declining a redo limits refund eligibility to 20% of the service cost. Only authorised services are covered.


PAYMENT TERMS

Payment is due upon completion. Failure to pay voids our service guarantee. The booking client is responsible for inspection pre- and post-service. Disputes must be reported within 3 days of the invoice. Failure to disclose hazardous or extreme conditions at booking voids the service guarantee. Additional work will not be provided outside of the original quote.


LEGAL TERMS

Vehicles/products won't be released until full payment is received. Unpaid invoices may incur legal and collection fees, with 18% annual interest on overdue amounts.

Clients are responsible for inspecting the vehicle upon delivery. If satisfied, the work is deemed complete. We reserve the right to correct any errors, omissions, or estimates at any time.

Nordic Detailing is not responsible for damage, theft, or loss of vehicle contents beyond our control. Pre-existing damage may impact results and is not covered under any warranty or guarantee.
